Source: Awakening Your Heart
This is our fall series book club/yoga class on reviewing an awesome book on Awakening Your Buddhist Heart where we will learn all about Buddha’s theories as well as other religious thoughts on how we live our lives. This is part of our “going inward”.
What have I learned so far from seeking?
Life is about relationships with ourselves, with each other and the need to feel loved.
We are all part of the universal light. We are never disconnected from the “whole” even though we may feel as if we are.
How do we find our self on the right path? Once we get there how do we live and remain on a spiritual path and what does it all mean?
This series is about making sense of and understanding our feelings, seeking clarity as well as finding our sense of perspective.
Please join me on this path.
I have been practicing for a month with Spirit Voyage’s 40 day Global for increasing energy.
I just love the Kaur family they have some of the best training for Kundalini practice. They are all so talented and we thank them for sharing.
I felt this was perfect to share to show you my novice practice directly with you (bloopers and all) just in time for the fall to incorporate into your practice.
Join me below practicing. This is if you are serious on meditation and my advise is for beginners this may be too much so start out slowly and go as long as you can and come back to your mat tomorrow and try again to go a bit longer.
Remember repeating for 40 days will help you to follow engulf yourself in any practice and 11 minutes is the key.
Namaste and Sat Nam,
The sixth Chakra “The Third Eye” is in the center of our intuition and defines our connection to our own inner guidance.
If you experience issues in decision making or lose of direction then you may have an imbalance in this Chakra.
The developmental stages of this Chakra is in the adolescent stages of youth.
The third eye is located between your eyebrows in the center.
The Chakra’s element is light and it’s color is Indigo.
If you have physical issues in your eyes and or ears this may be due to the sixth Chakra.
Please follow us as we explore bringing this Chakra into balance.
Namaste & Sat Nam,
Today we continue with the Summer Chakra series to the 5th Chakra the Vishudda or Throat Chakra.
The color of this Chakra is blue and the element is sound.
Our throat Chakra may be out of wack if we have trouble with open communication such as presenting (speaking in public settings) and or listening (interrupting constantly). The development of this Chakra is normally somewhere between 7-12 years where something may have happened to you during that time that caused you to have a permanent imbalance.
The location of the Chakra is located in our throat area and if we have imbalance we may act withdrawn at times.
We each have a right to express ourselves and it is important that we don’t overlook this if we have a problem with it.
The good news is for every imbalance there is a way to realign with the universe and that starts within ourselves.
The throat Chakra has 3 wonderful poses that you can do to realign this area. They are plow, shoulder stand and fish. Watch along with me as we go through the steps to do each one.
Namaste and Sat Nam,
