Dear Students and Friends,
In my research I found an article with an interview from 2011 from the Vatican’s Chief exorcist involving yoga. Keeping in mind I was baptized and raised a Catholic, later I converted as a Baptist and today I am basically a non-demonetization Christian. I thought as a yoga instructor that it is my duty to not only share this with you but to comment to my many students and friends that practice yoga.
Yoga is in no way associated with Occult or Black Magic. Yes Hinduism has its beliefs of reincarnation but that doesn’t mean to practice Yoga that you have to be Hindu. Yoga if anything will help one to find his or her path to enlightenment. By associating yourself with a group of like-mind beliefs great things can happen. You can feel better inside and out, make changes in our global environment and do your part towards unifying this otherwise divided world we call home.
Sure our kids are raised in a different time and I stop and think what will our grand children’s generation have thrown in front of them. There is too much in the media that we could probably all do without. Perhaps we should shut off the electronics and light a candle once in awhile or go sit under a big oak and read a good hard covered book *(you do remember what they are don’t you?).
My point being I respect our elders opinions and we are each entitled to say as we feel. If we all agreed on everything how boring would our universe become.I can only summarize that perhaps Father Amorth has seen so much bad in his tenure that he can only think the obvious that we are adding to our own grief by allowing these thoughts to creep inside of our lives and the lives of our little ones. So to credit his thoughts,
I agree there is a devil and he is real and we see him at work every day but there is also strength in positive energy and for every bad thing tossed our way we have the ultimate power to reject Satan each and every day by having a loving open heart that believes in only doing good. Ladies and Gentleman that is what Yoga is about union and love.
Namaste,
Kat
